The absence of preventative healthcare & health education further elevates the likelihood of severe ailments, early pregnancies, communicable diseases, & substance abuse. Impoverished communities particularly bear the brunt of inadequate access to fundamental health resources which result in preventable diseases & sometimes, fatalities.
